That's awesome! I also do martials arts and breakdance and I never expected a guy like him to do those things. I'm sure that he didn't do those things on a super high level but it still shows that he likes to challenge himself and in more unorthodox things.

Nobody who actually breaks calls it breakdancing…

  3. Dik Tracy says:

Hard to say if it was him of course but it does match with his description that he pushed people out in sanshou.
But i like to see face close ups of people when they are fighting or before the fight starts so i can match their faces with the gear, body type, etc.

Breakdancing–while i did see some asian kids doing some pretty good moves, i saw tim standing in the back dancing along with the chinese ladies.

He did pull off a slow, 1 rotation windmill..

Fairtex– Idk abt this one. If it was him, he was moving very differently from his supposed sanshou fights. Obviously a different sport but at least in sanshou it did kind of match with his high school wrestling pedigree.

    Fairtex is a murderous gym.

That being sad, its hard to tell from a grainy early 2000s video with no closeups and continuity shots.

Still waiting on the full doc tim!

Why is Tim Ferris face not clear during fights in the video?

  6. OpenAirOutreach says:

That's so funny that you become a Chinese National Kickboxing Champion after only four weeks of training simply by pushing light weights off the mat. LOL. Its good to think outside the box.

  7. Mickey T says:

I'm sorry but we don't see Tim doing anything in this video.

  8. Tony Paternite says:

He did the windmill. That's a power move.

Tim Ferriss is awesome. I'm a big fan of the concepts that Tim promotes; Lifestyle design, automating your income, etc.

  10. Kristopher Chavez says:

Tim Ferriss is not "bragging" here he is just living his life and putting it to music. And if he's not the best at "power moves in breakdancing" who gives a shit. He's doing it. He's doing exactly what he wants to do.

I thought this video was fantastic. Nice work Tim.

4HWW is an interesting read and provides a number of useful strategies. However, I find stuff like this video to be overly vain and self indulgent on your part. I care a lot more about my own lifestyle than I do yours.
